Posted by Gunny Well. I describe what is in the ad for "Webster Square" in a post below. 3-4 cutters. There's what used to be a single man's operation, Bob's, on Grafton Street that first was taken over by a steroid based body builder but now has a sign out saying "3 barbers no waiting". Just back up the street is "Justin's" -- not been there either -- but he's advertising "three men and a woman". There may not be that many new shops in Worcester, but shops that have multiple cutters available appear to be growing in popularity. Is this a promise of the old become new? Is there a genuine renaissance of the barbershop taking hold? I do not know, or offer an opinion. But there is much to be explored in the Worcester, MA area. Not a one of these shops existed two years ago!

Even I am not old enough to remember, from experience, the old shops that were multiple staffed -- well I do remember a shop on Washington Street in Boston on the approach to a subway station that had three men cutting -- but rare in my experience.
My experience of traditional shops mostly has been of single barbers.
