First of all, Congratulations on the coolest flat ever!!!!! Anyway, I also shave the sides and back for the first three days (sometimes twice a day), then let it grow in for my every Friday afternoon barbershop ritual. Work in a government ofice and yes people definitely check it out -admire- I'm sure they wish they had the guts to wear this type cut. You should enjoy it and most definitely think about keeping it. The most awesome haircut ever - not for the faint of heart.
