Marine recruits are issued Hanes briefs and The Duke brand jockstraps.
Deploying Marines are issued Under Armour skivvy shirts and bottoms, though there has been some controvery about this fabric. Under Armour is not considered safe to wear off-base in Iraq because it's not flame retardant.
Except recruits, Marines can otherwise wear any type of underwear they choose.
