Posted by Gunny I get genuinely angry when I hear folk say my vote doesn't count, so why bother. A week ago this country was headed to Hell in a handbasket. Today there is a least hope for a new beginning. The difference between Midnight and Dawn was approximately 2000 votes in Montana and 7500 in Virginia. This in a nation of 300,000,000! NEVER let that thought escape your mind. Most recently the Army's slogan was "an Army of One". Every one of us is an "America of One". Your vote is a precious and hard fought for privilege. In the vast majority of scenarios it can move a mountain. To stay home and not vote, whatever the odds, is the truly un-American thing to do.

I have no desire to turn this board into a political discussion group. Hopefully we can get back to military haircuts. But I have a final observation to make.
