I limited my "political involvement" to contributions of cash made without leaving my comfortable seat in front of this computer, posting a few lawn signs, and writing here on occassion. For what it is worth I will claim credit for opposing the destruction of the Constitution that I swore to uphold and defend from the very first, 9/11 not withstanding. I then refused to be painted as "cut and run whimp" and "non-macho" because I dared to speak the obvious -- "The Emperor HAS no clothes!" It's been a very dark and foreboding five years since the towers collapsed. As long as the vast majority of Americans bought the BS lines they were being fed it threatened to destroy the nation. With a bit of a grin/smile, let me thank Mrs. P who taught me in sixth grade. She taught me the words of Patrick Henry and she taught a truism, "Two wrongs do not make a right". I never once succumbed to the nonsense that to oppose follow made less a man or less a partiot.

BuzzCT I appreciate the kind words, but I'm certain you put in more "nitty-gritty" effort than I. You were in the front lines and down in the foxhole.
