Primarily second the sentiment with two caveats.
That 7500 edge in the VA Senate race. I can't shake memories of Florida, Bush/Ford, and a conservative Supreme Court.
Second, I'm disappointed. W the "Decider" sounds just as moronic today as he did yesterday not withstanding the changing of the guard.
But all in all it is hard to believe what took place yesterday. Around January of this year I would have taken major bets against it. I was not only in despair as to the existing situation I only saw it getting worse.
Let's hear it for the American voter. I can hear Robin Williams shouting out over the airwaves, "GOO--oooD Moorn-- inggg AMERICA".
Realistically I think the lesson will be totally lost on the jihadists, but if yesterday's example doesn't convince them of the values and practicality of democracy, I doubt that anything will.
The America I grew up in is back! Glory, glory hallelujah!!
