Posted by ShornBald Couple of suggestions. * Try the "new" improved Xtreme III. It has 3 blades and an oil strip that lubricates and cuts down on scalp drag. Don't use a single blade, you will get nicked all the time. * Do shave your head in the shower after washing your head w/soap and water several times (let the water soften your scalp, so the hair shaft expands) before applying shaving cream. * Gunny suggested it, and I agree. Try using the new Fusion shaving cream. It's much better than anythhing else on the market becuase it also lubricates the scalp, cutting down on razor drag. The problem with plain old soap or shampoos is that they tend to dry your skin out, eliminate scalp oil that (again) lubricates and cuts down on razor drag (which again causes razor burn, nicks and ingrown hairs). * And use some kind of aloe based moisturizer after shaving. You'll be amazed that even if you shave every day, you still can have dry skin flakes or dandruff, especially if you have nicks healing. Hope this helps some...

Colin,
Don't shave directly under running water as it will truly cause many nicks.
