PROMISING IS THE WORD. The promise is the "half" victory. I'm realistic. The House will go Dem. The Senate, unfortunately, will remain in Neanderthal hands. Lamont vs. Liberman is a perfect example. Folk who continue to vote for him do not vote on their actual beliefs but on "faithfulness". They will vote for Liberman because he was WAS "a good guy". They are wrong but never will be convinced that they are. The Senate will therefore go to the Republicans, sorrily. But take heart. Progressives will capture the House of Representatives. Support for a veto requires both houses. The focus unfortunately will not come until 2008. Hope, only hope, is the Democratic dream. I don't think it will happen but as a "fantasy" guy I still HOPE.
