Posted by Gunny The shaved head is apparently the norm in the Corps these days. It is the only "cut" I can still manage. But the difference these days is that there are so many shaved heads -- good looking ones and "macho" looking ones -- that few see a shaved head as a "military cut" per se. Perhaps I'm a simple egotist. But I miss the automatic connection with men who view military as unique that I enjoyed when I had an HT. HT too has been taken over by non-military oriented men. But it remains a cut that prompts some to ask if you are active or a lifer. Bald heads, good looking as they are, for some reason do not evoke the same questions. I say an HT is still THE military cut. If you have the hair to do it maintain an HT as long as you are able!! Long live the HT!!

I've thought about this a great deal. I think that men should adopt a military look.
