Hi,
150' across by 200' long. We are getting a laser system, and I'm
trying to learn the basics about it. So far I've been lead to
believe we should get either a Nd:YAG or a DPSS. I've also grown
to believe they are pretty much the same thing...and that Nd:YAG
can be excited by either flash lamp or diodes. Is that about right?
What is the difference in price, life, performance etc between the
two excitation methods, if that's the real consideration? About how
many watt laser would we need for a room that size, with rather
thin beamage due to a bad-ass air circulation system fighting two
DF-50s?
future how could we move on to multiple colors if we want to? Can
a PCAOM system get multiple colors from a DPSS 532nm laser, or would
we need a white light laser, or a second laser for red colors?
