You might ask what is the typical efficiency (output/input power ratio). I don't know, but assuming the data point <350 mA DC, 3VDC, and 5 mW output, I would guess that efficiency >0.0048 or >-23 dB. Sounds pretty inefficient, like an incandescent bulb. Where does all the input power go...heat?
