I have a 40mW 650nm unit that is about equal
in visibility to a slightly > 5mw hene. The
two dots side by side reveal a noticeable
difference in color, with the 650nm being
a beautiful ruby red. The HeNe looks
closer to orange than when viewed without
a real red laser for comparison.
