Hi Diana. Hopefully I can help! It sounds like you have a 1928 Pre-War Jolly Golly Golfer. They were initially made without the bar joining the legs, but in the early 1930s the bar was added to strengthen the legs and reduce stressing to the leg enamel. It should have a reg no on the reverse... 729156 or possibly (and rarer, 729136). There should be detailed creases on the upper sleeve of the coat as well. Hope that helps you! Regards, Mark
