we see the goli wog not as a racist symbol but as loveable old fashioned icon. as a kid, we never ever thought of a golli wog as posing as a racist figure, but a link to robinson's and other things it featured with. i feel that in this day and age little things are blown out of proportion and we daredn't breath in case it offends someone or imposes some sort of health and safety regulation! long live golli wogs!
