i agree with for the most part of what you said..perhaps it is time that the golliwog is no longer made in production.....it is a shame to think that because some of us collect them with good intentions, are accused of being racist...i will never give up my collection golliwogs, but i am mindful to not show them in front of those who might get offended ( ie:the black population) golliwogs may never be made again, but i will not give up my freedom of collecting something thats an innocent victim of an opinion.
