Ms. gipsy, are u saying that it is not racist to make a poem about killing ten little "injuns" (or indians)? It is still a racist poem, but it was just changed so that it could be targeted towards another minority. There is no difference.
Also, when the book was written, the term nigger was a bad and racist term. Its just that those days were racist times. Therefore, racist things were socially accepted in some places. But i guarantee that it was not socially acceptible in all places. Maybe the reason you run this site in the first place is because that racism was taught to u from birth to be just "innocent fun." Well, you have grown up now. And it is definately not innocent anymore, i dont see why you are so adament to tell people what they should or should not find racially offensive.
