PC gone mad I think Kathleen..I just had an article sent to me from the UK that a man and three Golliwogs were arrested by Police after someone complained when a shop keeper put them in his window....
Ah me, some people don't have enough to do with their lives!
Who will love them? Well those of us in the Golliwogg Collectors Club, both in the US and the UK will certainly continue our collections and to heck with the PC crowd!
The International Golliwog Collectors Club in the US can be reached at info@gollyfest.com...and they can also give info about the UK club if anyone needs it.The IGCC puts out a quarterly newsletter..
Every 1-2 years the club hosts a 'GOLLYFEST' convention some where in America, where many Golliwog fans get together to share information, collections, and just have alot of FUN! The next one is being planned right now...If you would like to read up on the last one (San Diego January 2006) I have posted a synopsis of events on my home page.
