Lake Girl and all else who I'm disagreeing with no offense. Browder Cemetery is not on Brookcove Road. You can look up the Cemetery through the United States Geological Survey website. I must say I have little doubt in info from the USGS. They show the cemetery off of Payne Road and miles, miles from Brookcove. The W-S paper dated 12-26-1929 and 12-29-1929 does state that the family was laid to rest together and at Browder Cemetery which the article states was only a few hundred yards from their house. This puts their house also somewhere on or near Payne Road. No offense to anyone especially the Lawson family but I trust the USGS and a newspaper that reported the story one day after it happened a little more than I trust info handed down through several generations. One last thing. I beg that you "hunters" act with extreme regard for the respect of all living and dead.
