I am currently researching the Singleton family from Salem, OR. One of the brothers, John/Jack A. Singleton, was a miner in the Klondike area until at least 1910. By 1923, he was the Postmaster in Tanacross, and in later years, he lived in Tetlin. He is buried in Birch Hill Cemetery in Fairbanks. We know very little about John from 1910 until 1923. I found a reference to a roadhouse in Lignite Creek being owned and operated by Jack Singleton. Anybody know anything about the Singleton that was in Lignite ? Iam, of course, trying to determine if they are one and the same individual. Thank, Dan
