Posted by MTWA on 6/4/2003, 8:17 am Once again hires a member of Q.C. to face his former charge, 'Showtime' Ryan Jeffries. Cruise didn't get much interfering in during the match thanks to John Matrix repeatedly chasing him around the ring. Jeffries is able to advance to the finals after hitting Q.C. 2 with the Heart Of Stoan and picking up the pinfall victory. Match 2: (U.S. Title Tournament Semi-Finals) Mad Dogg vs 'Southern Rebel' Denny Ray Mad Dogg, the former U.S. Champ, goes after Denny Ray in hopes of reacquiring the U.S. Championship, but Denny Ray had other plans and pulled out a victory after a Tennessee Twister DDT and the 3 count. Mad Dogg didn't take his loss well, and left the Rebel laying after the match. Winner: 'Southern Rebel' Denny Ray Match 3: 'True Talent' Trent Richards vs All-Star McStoots Both men show off their cruiserweight style moves throughout the bout. All-Star at one point going for the victory, but missing a top rope leg drop. Richards is able to pick up the win however with his LoDown Frog Splash. Winner and No. 1 Contender To The Cruiserweight Title: 'True Talent' Trent Richards Match 4: Jailbreak vs Outlaw Myke Dooley The two new comers show off their skills to the MTWA fans, with Jailbreak picking up the 3 count victory in the end. Winner: Jailbreak The Showstoppers looked to be in a bit of trouble when Dirty White Boy punches the ref, who disqualifies The Showstoppers and awards the match to D.E.A Winners by disqualification: D.E.A Match 6: (U.S. Title Tournament Finals) 'Showtime' Ryan Jeffries w/Matrix vs 'Southern Rebel' Denny Ray Jeffries and Denny Ray fought back and fourth for a good amount of time with Matrix interfering when he could. Jeffries ends up hitting Denny Ray with a choke slam from the 2nd rope and picks up the pinfall victory. Winner & NEW U.S. Champion: 'Showtime" Ryan Jeffries Matrix beats Promo throughout the match. The end had both men down and the ref making the count, Big Daddy Kane came out when the ref was up to 9 and Winner & STILL MTWA Champion: John Matrix

looking at Matrix as he was getting to his feet, and pulled Promo's feet out from under him as the ref turned around and saw Promo was on the mat as
he counted the 10.
