The widow of an old friend wants to sell his replica 1862 Gatling Gun. It sits on a wheeled carriage that he had constructed, with about 44 inch diameter wheels (I didn't have a tape measure with me) commercially made for him. He was a fanatic for historic accuracy in everything he did or acquired. The 6 barrels appear to be about .58 caliber? I think this was a smoothbore model made around 20 years ago and I used to have a brochure from the same company? There are 200 cartridges for it that he used in various Civil War reenactments to fire blanks. He invested quite a bit of time, research and money making this a very accurate recreation. I tried to take some photos but the gun currently resides in a dark garage and the details are not as sharp as I would like but will try to send them to anyone who is seriously interested. She is asking $12,500, and shipping and crating would be additional.
