Peter,
I have seen two Gattlings at the Colt Musuem in Hartford , CT , but unfortunately , neither used the pointing bar. ( one is 1874 on tripod , the other is enclosed barrel model on tripod)
I would recommend just scaling it from the book drawings.
I was able to Tig weld together a steel yoke using parts from conveyor arms to match the 1874 model shown in the Wahl book. ( p. 59 ) This technique could be used to make the version you seek.
