In the plans by D&E, leaded steel is listed as a good material for this part. It sure would look nice and perhaps function very well if it was color case hardened. By the way, if you are going to case harden any parts with Kasenite, be aware that the fumes given off in the process contain hydrogen cyanide gas!!!
