I just ordered form metal express 12l14 crs for the carrier block instead of brass. I got two 3 1/2 x 3 ( one is for my OPPS box ) for less that 1/2 the cost of one brass. Since it won't be seen and it is 195% machineability and rated at 60,000 psi and polishes very well. I would like to know if anybody used this also
Fred said that he drilled the carrier block and the rear and front plate together after pinning them together.
