Posted by ahall on 11/10/2006, 2:05 pm, in reply to "Re: A few questions" I have a letter from the ATF stating that a gatlin does not fall in either the rifle or handgun catagories and is exempt from the barrel length restriction. I would suggest obtaining letters from them stating that the gun is legal, the barrel length is ok, etc. That way when bubba with a badge starts asking questions you have independent answers to show him. It takes a few weeks, but the ATF will answer your questions. Better safe than sorry
