I am extrememly fascinated by gatling guns, and would like to own one, but I do not have the means to shell out $10,000 for a ready-made example. I noticed that RG-G sold a "complete materials kit" for a much more plausible $719. Has anyone ever bought this kit, and how much work is required to make the finished gun (in terms of machining and metalworking)? Would it be a doable operation for a shlub like me with no machining experience (in other works, how much metalworking experience would I need to complete this project)?
