Fred, The hole does come very close to breaking out. The idea was to be able to use a standard extractor rather than a new design. The way I do it is to drill the hole in the stick mag first and then clamp the extractor into the magazine with the mill vice. The magazine hole can then be used as a pilot to drill the extractor hole. It's worked for 27 guns so far.
