It sounds to me like you are doing just great. I had a set of prints for about 3yrs. to before I could start on them. Making one part at a time is OK but make the parts as they go together so at assembly time everything fits. I have built 3 guns and I will be more than happy to offer up any help, also pictures.Hang in there.
