: I hand rear baby parrots, and lately
: have had a couple of clutches of
: CAG's. No problems at all with
: them, they are phenomanal birds,
: great fun. So much so that one out
: of the first clutch has stayed
: with me!! But at the moment I have
: 2, both out of different parents
: 10 days apart in age, both were
: ordered from the start, but one
: owner has now changed her mind, so
: the other ones owner wants both,
: I,m having them both sexed, but
: need to know any problems with
: either a male/male pairing, a
: female/female pairing, or a
: male/female pairing. They would be
: kept in the same cage which is big
: enough for at least 2 big birds,
: and would spend a good deal of
: time out as well. But I wont let
: them both go together if the sex's
: have any problems being together,
: hope someone can help.

HI!!! hope i can help,, i'm at work so not much time,,, what i have learned and read, that greys can be very picky about their roomates,, they could even kill the other bird if they dont like them,, i saw at the parrot rescue i volunteered in one bird constantly beat up the other bird,, and had to be moved,,, this could be in either case of boy boy, girl girl, or boy girl,, usually they choose their own mates,,,, usually,, so they are alittle picky...,, i know this is very late to your questions, but i hope it helps,,, i would be very, very cautious,, for the happiness, mental, physical well being of both birds,, sincerely,, Madelynn
