Hi. ,,Angela,, you mentioned you owned parrots before,, if you haven't formula fed a baby before please make sure that your breeder,gives you the proper instructions to take care of your baby,, i was concerned for this is a very young bird,, many but not all people are able to make sure their baby is getting the proper amount of food, proper temp. of food and given the correct amounts daily,,,, i'm sure you do, but do you have the time available to care for / feed ??? does your work sched. allow time to properly care for this youngster??? feeding is a crucial matter,,, perhaps a grey breeder can help you too,, but i sure hope the one .,, who is selling you the bird gives you , loads of proper info. i would find a local vet, too, to examine your bird,, i was un educated about feeding/ weaning when i purchased my grey 6 yrs., ago, and i almost lost him, i do not want anyone to make the mistakes i did,, storm recovered very well, but i was fortunate, at that time he was 3 months,, please do your homework, i have to run, right now, if i can be of any help please contact me @ congoparrot@hotmail.com best wishes to you, madelynn
