Hello. I have a 9 month old female African Gray. Tonight when my husband and I came home from work and let her out of her cage, we noticed that her right eye was a reddish/brown color. Almost bloddy looking. It's not swollen or puffy. And there's no discharge. It doesn't even seem to be bothering her. Except that she seems to turn her head using her good eye to look at things. We tried testing her to see if she was having vision problems with it, and she doesn't appear to be. She is eating and drinking, playing with her toys, interested in her surroundings and of course talking. We have two other birds, cocateils, but they are in a different room and are never around each other. I've been on the internet all night trying to see if I can find anything to point me in the right direction, but found nothing even close to this.
