Welcome to the terrible twos!!!!! you've got not too much longer to go,,,,I recommend a great book Birds off the Perch about 20.00 please get it, I got it at petsmart, please do not give up on your bird.. How do you react when the bird bites??? This will decide future attacks if you are loud and negative, show prompt authority without expressing pain or drama, I had a biting problem too, there is hope I have the best little behaved grey in the world now give short time outs if we are bad tell the bird gently you are not happy with being bit, not good,, dont get excited,,, greys remember, have the mind of 4-5 yr. olds, I am sure your bird knows the word good from bad,,please read my response to OUCH,,, when we are good let the bird know how so very happy you are with THAT behavior, please never yell or get excited,, or worse yet scream at the bird, it will ruin them mentally.... I hope this helps, I try to share what I have learned to keep as many parrots out of rescues, and in good homes, I volunteer in a parrot rescue, I try to help prevent birds from ending up in them, lets heal the problem!! it can be done.. best wishes Madelynn
