Anyone that could give me some kind of idea what I could be getting myself into any information I would appreciate. I have a party that is trying to get me to purchase 2 congos. A male and female , birds are 6 years old and have been together since they were babies and kept in the same cage. Price they were offered to me I consider a super deal. The reason they want to part with them is for health reasons and the husband will be going out of state for some major surgery soon with a long hospitol stay expected.
I had a moluccon for 2 years. Original owner was female and I was unable to get the bird to bond to me. He was totally a womans bird.
I need to make a decison on the greys soon and I know there is a ton of information out there on the net but need some insight real soon as just what I could be getting myself into.
I have always wanted a grey so I do understand what is involved and how demanding the big birds are. But no knowledge with the greys..
Any ideas and or help would be appreciated... Thanks Rich
