hi
i leave smokey at home while i am at work but i leave the tv or radio on quite and she has lots of toys in her cage.
i dont find this to cause any problems at all. she is pleased to see me when i get in and she sits with me all night having lots of cuddles. i do take her in to work with me sometimes for a bit of a change.
i think that as long as you pay them lots of attention all the time you are in and give them toys and a bit of music they are fine.
my smokey is great so i dont see any problem.
