Lake of the Prairies is fished out. Outdoor Canada published an article about LOP about 4 years ago. Since then it has had heavy, heavy presssure in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Fishing was slow in 2006 and in 2007 it was very, very slow. Most Walleye caught in 2007 were 10 to 13 inches. The local rule on LOP is to NOT KEEP any Walleye 12 inches or under. They are future years catches! Try this lake in five plus years once it recovers or it gets stocked.
