I have been a long time fan of the Knack's, and I have had the great pleasure
of meeting all the members back in 1981 when I was 16. I have seen them at least
five times in the Bay Area and every time they put on the BEST club show I have ever seen.
back when I as a teen, he was my idol. So, I guess it was kind of
cool that I got to meet my idol. Thank goodness I grew out of the
"idol worship" phase of my life.
embarrassing episode of my life when I sent him a love letter to his mom's
house. However, in 1984 I was in Los Angeles with some friends and he
invited us over to his lovely home in Pacific Palisades and of course, he
was a COMPLETE gentleman as he's always been! He's been very
patient with the silly phone calls we made to him too 
unfortunately I moved away from the Bay Area to Kansas City, MO.
I know they played in St. Louis last year, but hopefully they would
consider putting KC on the tour for this or next year.
