Posted by Sue I used a new ('79) black beauty Les Paul going through a Mesa Boogie Mark II. Doug played his '71 Strat (I'm pretty sure) going through a Vox AC-30 for the rhythm guitar. The fat crunch for the solo was just the boost channel in the Mesa Boogie. I hope this answers all your questions. If you looked at the back cover of Get The Knack, you could figure out our instrumentation virtually throughout the album. Berton
