Hearing about "The Future", which already sounds as if my tense has gone slightly askew, I am minded to ask "what is Adi Newton up to today?". I can only believe that there is a masterplan, but I think post TAGC, we have only really seen a dodgy "reissue" (authorised?) of "Buried Dreams" and the "VR Handbook"...the Fans, I am sure, are slavering with anticipation for more...and more........
Anyway, nice site...a real tribute to Human League..
: In case you hadn't already heard, the Black
: Melody label will soon be releasing a
: compilation CD of previously unreleased
: early recordings by The Human League and
: their predecessors, The Future, between
: 1977 and 1979.
: Entitled "The Golden Hour Of The
: Future", the CD will include 20
: tracks plus various snippets between some
: of those tracks.
: The CD should be out in October 2002,
: preceded by a limited edition six-track
: 12" EP ("Dance Like A
: Star") which will include four
: recordings (all them worth having) not on
: the CD.
: For more details, see the link below... sorry
: if this reads like spam, but I thought it
: would be of genuine interest!
