Posted by Ralf Schmitt on May 18, 2004, 12:58 pm, in reply to "Re: Musicmatch Jukebox" I going to create a rule for Jukebox to be on all The main process of JukeBox is called "mmjb.exe" with caption "MUSICMATCH Jukebox" when I add a rule for that (process + caption substring) the rule matches! So I go on and create rules for the childproceses ("mmjb.exe" with caption "PlayList" substring ) but this rule doesn't match! What works is when I add "mmjb.exe" + empty caption substring in the field "switching does not hide these windows" on the "Specials / Hooks" tab. So I hope you can help me to trace my bug ralf ralf

Ok I've tested again ; )
desktops. So I do new rule -> mmjb.exe (process name) -> caption as substring empty (to match all windows of mmjb.exe as you said) -> On Desk Add -> Add in 1,2,3,4 -> Ok
After i restart the Jukebox it doesn't work. In "All wnds in OS" tab I see on the desk column that my rule didn't matched because just the number of the desktop I've added is set.
That means for me that the wildcard (empty caption substring) used in a rule doesn't work as it should!? Or maybe it works for a second and then someone resets them? What does the "Special / Hooks" Fuction do what i can't set in a rule?
