Posted by Neil Buesing Thanks for the response. Unfortunally, I do not have control over this machine to where I can update drivers. However, I will be upgrading to a new machine that also will have XP on it, and once that happens I can see if the problem remains in any way. The graphics card is a "S3 Graphics, SavageIX Properties" in a Toshiba laptop. When the problem happens again, I will attempt to check as you suggested in other posting. Thanks, Neil
