Posted by Grant Would it be possible to have an option to switch to a 'space saving' tray icon system that has only 1 icon, and this icon is the number of the desktop you are currently on (e.g. 1, 2, 3 etc).

If you have 8 desktops then that's 9 tray icons in total - thats quite a lot of space taken!
