Posted by Neil Buesing Many times an application takes minutes to execute a certain task and will popup dialogs if any errors exist. Those windows end up in the current active desktop, not in the desktop of the running application. Furthermore, since the running application isn't active, the dialogs pop behind the application I'm currently using, and I end up not seeing the dialogs. I believe I could set up rules for a window to go to a certain desktop, but I don't know if there is a way to make a window stay in the same desktop as its parent.

Is there a way to set Flash Desktops so it will place child windows of an application in the same desktop as the parent window (even when that is not the active desktop)
