Posted by Marius Storm-Olsen on June 25, 2002, 8:45 am I'm using Windows XP, which allows you to hide the system tray icons you wish, by selecting 'Hide Always', on the icons you want gone. This works fine for icons 2-4 at least. Windows XP remembers which icons you do not wish to see, and continues to hide them after a restart. This does not happen for icon 1. It's not really a problem, I'm just curious as to why icon 1 always pops back... Please have a look at the image to see what settings I'm talking about... Sincerely,
Hi,
Icon 1 is also hidden initially, when you choose it to go away.
I see that all the icons have a name ("Desk #", when # is the given desktop number), but the icon for Desk 1 does not. Can this be the problem? Why doesn't icon 1 have a name, like the others?
