Just looking a bit at the code I couldn't find an obvious bug. It seems we need to do a bit of debugging...
Please answer some questions:
If you choose 4 desktops and then use the hotkeys to move right, right, right... when you are on number 4 and you move right what happens? Does it go on 5 or stay in 4 or loops to 1? And if from 1 you hit the hotkey to go left what does it do?
