Is there an explanation why some people are pumped after a work out and some aren't (i.e. exhausted)? Any thoughts? Thanks.

A friend has just informed me that working out at night isn't good for you. This information has raised a red flag to me given that in the past 8 years, I've been going to the gym at night. I've scoured the web looking for an explanation on this. The only information I found pertained to sleeping disorders which fortunately, I don't suffer from any.
