That is similar to how I train at the moment. Only, I don't always hit an assisting muscle, e.g monday - bi's/tri's, wednesday - legs/abs, thursday - back/shoulders... I will hit only my chest on another day, which is really what has made me want to split it even more. I love concentrating on one muscle but it is only recently that my bi's and tri's have felt like they're up to the test.
