Thanks, your posts are so helpful. I was thinking of these 2 as possibilities - but then I saw some pictures of 40-50'+ perrinniana and neglecta and panicked...I do like the look of nicholli, glaucescens, and niphophila in particular and wonder if they can be somewhat controlled in height to 25-30'? I can't imagine cutting a tree down to the ground and letting it sprout back. Will they survive long with that harsh of a trim?
