just shows the state of uncertainty on eucalyptus hardiness. hardiness of any euc will depend to a certain extent on genetic and provenance---some populations and individuals therein will grow under a particular set of environmental conditions perhaps colder while another group of the very same species may grow under a different set of conditions perhaps warmer. eucs from the colder area MAY prove hardier than the same time from the warmer area OR maybe NOT. assuming YOUR environmental conditions are satisfactory in the first place for general cultivation of at least some eucalyptus the performance/growth of any particular species is at best a matter of experiment and a certain amt. of LUCK. therefore, all i or anybody else can offer you if you are working with seed or plants with such a broad/vagure hardiness rating is "bon chance"
