its a specialized technique which i believe is most successful using cuttings from young seedling stock and/or resprouts from base of a cut back mature plant. the alternative asexual method is grafting of the selected cultivar to a suitable rootstock. more detailed info on both techniques can most likely achieved by a web search with the terms "cutting reprodcuction eucalyptus" and "grafting for eucalyptus". hope this helps. good luck.
