It was warm to hot during the day- almost 30c max, but cool at night- anything from 15c down to 10c some nights.
The only constants were the endless sunshine and the easterly winds. Even if it was calm at dawn you knew it wouldn't be long before the breeze started up again. It was great camping weather because there was no need for a tent; as long as your sleeping bag was reasonably warm you could lie in a swag and look at the stars.
